Our founder Jack Brennan was born and raised in Adelaide, South Australia, from parents with Irish and English heritage.  Music was part of his life growing up and years of study have propelled him to play all over Australia at events, festivals and even at the MCG. He teaches the special instrument of the uilleann pipes which have centuries of history. The personal dedication Jack shows to music is embodied in the craftsmanship of his work.

Fusing leather, exotic and Australian woods, and nickel silver, Jack creates unique and stunning instruments. Before crafting the instrument, the player can choose from different woods and designs. Once the decisions are made, Jack sets to work creating your one-of-a-kind musical instrument.

A great craftsman knows his instrument well.

After years of practice and playing Jack has been fortunate to play at numerous Australian music festivals, including the Port Fairy Folk Festival, the Woodforde Folk Festival, and the National Celtic Folk Festival in Portarlington Victoria.  In 2012 Jack was invited to play with well known Australian singer/songwriter Shane Howard, which saw him play in the Mutitjulu community by Uluru.  In 2016 Jack was asked to play at the Willie Clancy Festival in Miltown Malbay, County Clare Ireland.

After many years of playing this amazing instrument, Jack started on his journey of learning how to make the Uilleann Pipes from Master Craftsman Craig Fischer, living in the Adelaide hills.

Jack works from a home workshop and loves sharing the gift of music. You can follow him on facebook.
